Lines: Kim

So, I tried taking pictures of lines without people, but I just wasn't happy with how it turned out. I really like it when people are in my photos too....

Here are a few of my recent photos of people with lines involved:

This was a teeter totter:

Pretty bridge:

Awesome fence:

This is such a busy time of the year, but oh so fun! Maybe I'll try to get more creative and expand to non people photos...I'm just not as good at the artsy, abstract stuff...and I don't enjoy it quite as much.

  1. So great! You're very talented! I love the bride one. At first I just saw the lines created by her veil and loved the zig-zag look to those lines, then I noticed the see-saw drawing your eye up to the bouquet. So great!

  2. Way to be the first to post... I really got to post mine too! I love the one of the bride too! I like the lines in her dress, they (as well as the teeter-totter) drew my eyes to the bouquet.

  3. I'm guessing you are just as good at the artsy/abstract as you are with people. But if you don't enjoy it, then that's different. That bridal picture should be used in some sort of advertisement for something--it's awesome.

  4. Wow, Kim--I love the pictures! Like everyone else, I'm very impressed with the bridal one--it does deserve to be an ad.

Given the pictures I posted, I obviously appreciate the artsy, abstract/non-representational stuff. In fact, I struggle with the people pictures, which is why I'm so glad to have people participating who mostly take people pictures.

  5. Thanks for all the comments! That bridal one is one of my all-time favorites :) I definitely enjoy people photos 100 times more which is probably why I'm never satisfied with my non-people photos. But, I wouldn't mind getting into it a little bit more to have some fun artwork for the house...We'll see!
